Zip Codes Management
The Zip Codes Management screen allows you to create and maintain postal or ZIP code records and associate them with states and countries. These records are used throughout the system for address validation, customer locations, and site management.
You can add new zipCodes, edit existing ones, and remove states that are no longer required.
Navigation
To access Zip Codes Management:
General → Zip Codes
This opens the Zip Codes Management grid displaying all configured postal and ZIP codes.

Zip Codes Grid Overview
The Zip Codes grid displays all configured postal and ZIP codes in the system and includes the following information:
- Zip Code – The postal or ZIP code value
- City – The city associated with the zip code
- Country – The country associated with the zip code
- State – The state or region associated with the zip code
- Latitude – The latitude coordinate for the zip code location
- Longitude – The longitude coordinate for the zip code location
- Time Zone – The time zone offset associated with the zip code
- Daylight Saving – Indicates whether daylight saving time applies
- Geopoint – The combined latitude and longitude coordinate
- Last Modified By – The user who last updated the record
- Last Modified On – The date the record was last modified
Each row includes Edit and Delete actions to manage individual zip code records.

Creating a New Zip Code
- Click + New Zip Code at the top of the grid.
- Enter the required information:
- Zip Code
The postal or ZIP code value (for example, 90210, WC2N, 10001). - State
Select the associated state or region from the drop-down list. - Country
Select the associated country.
- Click Save Zip Code to create the new record.
- Click Cancel to discard changes.
Once saved, the zip code will be available for use when entering or validating addresses.

Editing an Existing Zip Code
- Locate the zip code you want to update in the grid.
- Click Edit next to the zip code.
- Update one or more fields, such as:
- Zip Code value
- Associated State
- Associated Country
- Click Save Zip Code to apply your changes.
- Click Cancel to exit without saving.
All updates are tracked using Last Modified By and Last Modified On fields.
Deleting a Zip Code
- Locate the zip code in the grid.
- Click Delete next to the record.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Note: Zip codes that are currently used by customer addresses or site records may not be deletable.
Search, Filter, and Grid Controls
The Zip Codes Management grid includes standard tools to help you find and manage records efficiently:
- Column filters for zip code, state, country, and modification details
- Keyword search for fast lookup
- Sorting by column headers
- Export, refresh, and column customization options
- Pagination for navigating large data sets
Best Practices
- Ensure zip codes are associated with the correct state and country.
- Use standardized postal formats appropriate to each country.
- Avoid duplicate zip code entries where possible.
Navigation Grids, Search and Filters
This screen uses a standard grid controls for searching, filtering, sorting, and managing records.
The grid provides the following tools:
- Column filters to narrow results by specific fields (such as IDs, names, notes, and modification details)
- Inline search fields below column headers for quick, column-specific filtering
- Global search bar for keyword-based searching across visible data
- Column sorting by clicking column headers
- Grid actions including export, refresh, auto-fit columns, and column visibility customization
